Avigilon, a leader in high-definition (HD) and megapixel video surveillance systems, announced the appointment of Bradley Bardua, CA, to the position of CFO effective immediately, Keith Marett to VP of Marketing and Communications and Amir Javidan to VP of Customer Service and IT.

Bardua has extensive experience working with fast-growing public companies in sectors such as technology, gaming, hospitality and energy. Over the past two decades, he has helped companies raise hundreds of millions of dollars through equity and debt offerings in Canada and the US and has led teams responsible for mergers and acquisitions, financial management and corporate governance.

Recent positions include CFO roles at Pacific BioEnergy Corporation and Gateway Casinos, where he was a member of the senior leadership team overseeing a $250-million-a-year operation with 3,400 employees.

Keith Marett has been promoted to VP of Marketing and Communications. During his short tenure at Avigilon, Mr. Marett has elevated Avigilon's global corporate brand image to a new level and played a key role in the company's successful IPO in November 2011.

Amir Javidan has been promoted to VP of Customer Service and IT. During his tenure with Avigilon, Mr. Javidan has done an exceptional job building a world-class customer service department—growing the team from one member to more than 25 today. Most recently, Mr. Javidan managed the complete overhaul of Avigilon's IT systems and established an IT team to optimize the company's operations and facilitate its continued growth.

HID Global
Kerry Reid, VP of HID Connect
HID Global, trusted leader in solutions for the delivery of secure identity, today announced Kerry Reid has joined HID Global as VP of HID Connect. In his new role, Mr. Reid will be responsible for driving HID Global hardware and software partnerships and extending the company's Genuine HID Technology ecosystem. This involves building upon HID's existing strengths in the access control market by expanding the use of Genuine HID Technology beyond the company's traditional manufactured products, and promoting partner solutions that use 13.56 MHz iCLASS and 125 kHz proximity technologies to extend our reach.

With over 20 years of industry experience in channel and OEM sales, marketing management and international sales roles, Mr. Reid brings executive expertise and a global perspective that will greatly contribute to the expansion of HID Global's partner and technology licensing programs around the world. Under his leadership, more third-party providers will be able to use the HID Connect partner platform to grow their businesses by helping end-users to use their existing HID technology-enabled cards for new access control applications such as desk top log in and authentication, time and attendance, biometrics, secure print authentication, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and many other emerging applications in this rapidly expanding industry.

John Menze, VP of Access Control ID Solutions
Identive Group, a provider of products, services and solutions for the identification, security and RFID industries, announced that it has formed a new product group focused on addressing the growing need for standards-based, integrated access control from the door to the network. The new Converged Access group aims to build on innovative technology specially developed for the Identity as a Service / SaaS offering of idOnDemand as well as the traditional strength of Identive in network access smart card reader technology. The new group will be headed by access control industry veteran John Menzel, as VP Access Control ID Solutions.

John Menzel has over fifteen years of senior management experience in a range of successful enterprises. In 2003 he co-founded XceedID, an innovative, high-growth secure RFID reader and credential company, where he served as CEO and President until its acquisition by Ingersoll Rand in 2008. Following the sale, he continued with Ingersoll-Rand Security Technologies in GM and Director of Marketing Strategy roles. Prior to XceedID Menzel held senior executive positions with major security industry companies, including Director of Business Development & Technology Integration for embedded proximity technology and Product Marketing Manager for iCLASS smart card products at HID Corporation, a division of Assa Abloy. Most recently he was VP of Marketing for CNL Software, a leading provider of physical security information management software.
