Aimetis, a provider of IP video management software, announced that it had increased unit sales by 40 percent in 2010 compared to 2009. It also reported that it expanded the number of global reseller partners by 67 percent to more than 400 globally in more than 100 countries.
In addition, while its channel initiatives remained strong, Aimetis participated in many enterprise projects, including the City of Novi Sad in Serbia, with a deployment of more than 1,000 Aimetis video management and analytics licenses, and the expansion of Munich Airport to Terminal 2, bringing the total cameras under Aimetis management there to 1,900.
Aimetis' recent business and product success has also been recognized in the security industry. In an intelligent video vendor shootout, Aimetis' video analytics outperformed several industry offerings in an independent product review conducted by system integrator along with A&S Magazine.
“In addition to product and customer accomplishments and industry recognition, 2010 saw Aimetis continue to execute on its long-term growth plans,” said Marc Holtenhoff, CEO, Aimetis. “With our management team enhanced by a new VP of engineering, we are positioned for a successful 2011 as well.”
