Pixim, a provider of imaging chips for enterprise security cameras, appointed David Beech, a surveillance security professional with over 28 years industry experience, as Channel Development Director-EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). As a member of channel marketing, Beech will be responsible for increasing the awareness of Pixim's brand as well as building channel relationships in his markets.

Most recently, Beech served as MD of dBeech Associates and cctvX, a management consulting company and electronic security distribution company. In this role, Beech provided many services for security companies including the development of business strategies, license agreement negotiation, and, through cctvX, the distribution of niche electronic security products. Other key industry positions he has held include VP of Technology for Ademco where he was responsible for building the company's Ademco Video CCTV brand, and eight years at Norbain SDL as Technical Director.

“Dave brings the ideal blend of experience to his new position,” said John Monti, VP of Marketing and Business Development for Pixim. “He has a strong technical background combined with real-world marketing experience. Security integrators and end users will benefit from his breadth of knowledge; he has a true understanding of the challenges they are facing in today's market.”

“I'm thrilled to be joining forces with Pixim,” Beech said. “Pixim's Digital Pixel System technology offers a solution for the lighting issues that are so common in many video security systems. Plus, I'm excited to be joining Pixim just as its new imaging chip, Seawolf, with an effective resolution of 690 TV lines, is setting a new performance benchmark in the surveillance market. Seawolf's price point is making cameras with Pixim's technology accessible to everyone.”
