Intergraph Engineering Management Optimizes UAE Gas Production

Intergraph Engineering Management Optimizes UAE Gas Production
Hyundai Engineering (HEC) has implemented Intergraph 3-D modeling and visualization solution for its work on the Integrated Gas Development (IGD) project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The nearly US $9 billion project will boost the Emirate’s offshore gas production to one-billion cubic feet per day and is midway through its estimated 2013 completion.
Hyundai Engineering (HEC) has implemented Intergraph 3-D modeling and visualization solution for its work on the Integrated Gas Development (IGD) project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The nearly US $9 billion project will boost the Emirate's offshore gas production to one-billion cubic feet per day and is midway through its estimated 2013 completion.

For its role in the Habshan 5 complex offsite facilities at the IGD project, HEC used Intergraph 3-D system for engineering design and engineering information management for data and document management. The Habshan 5 complex project entails the construction of the utilities and offsite facilities to support the increase of processing capacity for natural gas liquids.

Once the Habshan 5 complex is completed, HEC will use Intergraph's data management solution to ensure the smooth handover of project data to the owner operator and enable it to manage millions of design data components over the lifecycle of the plant asset.

“As a longtime Intergraph customer, we have had proven and dependable results on our previous projects,” said Myung-Su Han, GM for the Technology & Innovation Development Office at HEC.
