AMAG Technology, a provider of security management and digital video solution, and DAP Technologies, a mobile-computer manufacturer, have strengthened their partnership. In this partnership, AMAG is to resell the DAP handheld devices to its vast network of Symmetry-certified integrators. Purchasing all components from one manufacturer, AMAG makes the ordering process smooth and easy for any AMAG customer.
“This strategic partnership between AMAG and DAP proves our commitment to the DAP product line and the capabilities it provides to our customers when integrated with AMAG's security management solution,” said Mike Taylor, VP of North American Sales, AMAG Technology.
“With DAP's mobile computer, AMAG customers have an integrated solution. DAP's hardware is engineered to withstand harsh climates and inevitable drops, while offering the ability to read any credential, meet network communications requirements and achieve mobile badging,” said Bill Patterson, National Account Manager for Security and Identity Management, DAP Technologies. “We're pleased to formalize the relationship with AMAG and offer their customers a mobile tool for their access control system.”
DAP's mobile handheld computers are designed to meet the standards required in a variety of industrial and outdoor applications. Adaptable for each organization's requirements, DAP's handheld computers can be configured to read all relevant credentials formats including smart cards, proximity cards and HID cards.
AMAG customers that must follow government mandated guidelines, such as using a Transportation Workers Identity Credential, will find the mobile card checking a valuable way to increase their security. When AMAG's security management system integrates with DAP's mobile device, a high level of security is provided for any size organization.
