Fluidmesh and Mobotix Team Up for Technology Partnership

Fluidmesh Networks, a provider of wireless IP backhauling systems on the sub6.0 GHz range, and Mobotix, a provider of HD IP video security cameras, have entered into a technology partnership. Together, the two companies offer an enhanced solution to integrators.

“We're partnering with Mobotix because of the quality of their network cameras as well as their decentralized recording capabilities,” said Cosimo Malesci, VP of Channel Sales and Marketing for Fluidmesh. “The ability to record at the camera level results in a lower data load on the network. This approach is advantageous if combined with our ‘bandwidth on-demand' technology because it leads to substantial savings in the deployment of the system.”

Mobotix, which is based in Germany, has been partnering with Fluidmesh in Europe for the past several years, so the progression to the US partnership was a natural one.

“As a provider of HD IP video security cameras, Mobotix seeks out technology partners that support the delivery of high-quality imagery in both a reliable and cost-effective manner,” said Steve Gorski, GM of the Americas for Mobotix. “The importance of wireless networking in video surveillance systems is growing, particularly among large-scale instillations in civic locations. Fluidmesh is a technology partner, enabling Mobotix to provide end users with wireless security solution that they demand.”
