Dahua Technology, a supplier of digital video surveillance based in China, along with Indian distribution partner Aditya Infotech conducted Dahua Tech Summit 2010 in Delhi on Aug. 18 and in Mumbai on Aug. 20. The summits were attended by numerous channel partners at both locations.

This two-day event gave local channel partners — such as system integrators and installers — a good opportunity to better understand the Dahua product series. During the event, full-D1 DVR,s 32-channel stand-alone DVRs, combo DVRs and ATM DVRs were showcased. In addition, Dahua's CMS surveillance system also attracted attention for its ease of use.

In the summit, Dahua showed HD high speed PTZ dome network camera and HD stand-alone network video decoder. Its HD PTZ dome network camera brings great image quality at HD resolution 720p with 25/30 fps. A built-in 18x optic zoom lens and max 400-degree/s and 360-degree dome drive can cover a wide surveillance area quickly and in clear detail. The HD stand-alone network video decoder supports one channel 720p IP video decoding and VGA/HDMI HD output.

As a surveillance supplier, Dahua not only focuses on hardware manufacturing but also software development. For example, mobile monitoring has been in increased demand. Therefore, UPnP is designed to support remote monitoring through mobile devices, including iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile. By listening to its customers, Dahua developed CMS for Apple Mac OS, which extends the Dahua's surveillance products in various fields.
