Sanyo's range of nine full HD cameras has been integrated into Mirasys' video management software platform which will benefit customers who are looking for a gradual transition to a fully IP-based surveillance solution.

Mirasys offers user-friendly hybrid video management systems which can receive image feeds from both analog and network cameras simultaneously. Based on an open architecture and supporting H.264 compression, Mirasys systems are highly flexible and scalable and can be run across hundreds of servers on an unlimited number of workstations and mobile or browser-based web-clients.

David Hammond, European SM for Sanyo's CCTV division said: “Sanyo is delighted to have established a close working relationship with Mirasys who share our determination to be at the leading edge of technology. The integration will deliver substantial benefits to our mutual customers.”

Iain Cameron, MD of UK, Mirasys explained that “the development of HD camera technology has enabled vastly improved image quality. Mirasys is committed to supporting such innovation and our partnership with Sanyo has been a significant step to improving the quality of surveillance for our customers.”

Sanyo launched its range of real time full HD cameras at the end of 2009. The nine cameras are collectively designed to provide a solution for virtually any project with vandal resistant domes, PTZ cameras and a zoom camera included in the range, as well as a choice of three fixed cameras with CS mounts to provide a choice of lens.
