The Internet of Things (IoT) is starting to grow significantly, as consumers, business professionals, and government recognize the benefit of connecting inert devices to the internet. As part of the economic masterplan, Indonesia is working towards becoming ASEAN’s largest digital economy. By 2019, 20 percent of local and regional governments in Indonesia will use Internet of Things (IoT) to turn infrastructure like roads, street lights, and traffic signals into assets instead of liabilities, International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts.
