SEN-8428PL is a Lite managed 8-port 10/100/1000 PoE+ downlink and 2-port FX/GbE SFP uplink industrial switch designed for indoor surveillance and internet access points applications with real-time network monitoring. This PoE+ switch features up to 8-port PSE (power sourcing equipment) ports to control all the remote powered devices (PDs) with the help of automated features controlled from the web browser. Additionally, it offers auto-negotiation on all its ports and supports Modbus TCP to aggregate devices like HMIs and legacy devices easily.

With a variety of management tools for configuration, it takes only three hours for technicians to learn how to use this equipment. The Wizard reduces installation to three steps and three minutes. The monitoring and management platform, Topology Map and Dashboard, give useful information in real-time to help users diagnose the network and troubleshoot without on-site technicians at all times. Rate limitation and QoS (Quality of Service) allow network optimization.

This switch is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in metal to protect the device from tools and hazards. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -10°C~60°C (14°F~140°F) it suits hardened application environments without airconditioning. To ensure reliability the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensures non-stop operations and issues alerts if power fails.
