 Installation shall only be undertaken by technicians holding a certificate issued by an authorized distributor. 
 If your bedroom hallway is longer than 40 feet, install a CO alarm at both ends of the hallway. 
 Install at least one CO alarm near or within each separate sleeping area. 
 For added protection, install an additional CO alarm at least 20 feet (6 meters) away from the furnance or fuel burning heat source.
 Dangerous levels of Carbon monoxide:
 50 ppm: The maximum allowable concentration for continuous exposure for healthy adults in any 8-hour period. according to OSHA.
 200 ppm: Slight headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea after 2-3 hours.
 400 ppm: frontal headaches, within 1-2 hours, life threatening after 2-3 hours. 
 800 ppm: Dizziness, nausea and convulsions within 45 minutes. Unconsciousness within 2 hours. Dealth within 2-3 hours.
