The NVR160N is a network surveillance server which supports high quality real-time video/audio monitoring, megapixel recording, and playback of multiple network cameras. The 16-drive NVR160N offers maximum 48 TB physical storage (using 3 TB hard drives) with hot-swappable RAID technology for high data redundancy. It is capable of MxPEG, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG recording.
The standalone Linux-based NVR160N can be set up in simple steps on the local display interface. Remote PTZ control allows one to adjust the viewing angle and zoom of a camera from monitoring stations anywhere in the world. Motion detection functionality provides the ability to select a time frame during which motion detection will be activated. The motion detection can be limited to a portion of the viewing field in order to monitor very specific items or areas, recording their surroundings when these areas are activated.
