A company is only as good as its employees. RZB was aware of this and committed to ensuring maximum possible employee satisfaction. True to the company's mission statement, it used the SYMBIO HOTELDATA accounting system since 1997. This uses a multifunctional Legic card which combines functions, such as time and attendance, access control, ID badges, use of a garage and an electronic wallet. The card can add value at the top-up station, either by using cash or a check account credit, which can be redeemed in any of the company's catering facilities. Forgetful guests who do not always remember to add sufficient credit to their Legic ID are assisted by an electronic wallet, which allows a personal credit to be exceeded up to a defined negative balance.
SYMBIO operates at high speeds, with no queuing at tills even when the restaurant is busy. Because the bank's restaurant and in-house cafeteria proved to be so popular, another internal expansion project is set to start in the near future. Construction work will involve installing a third line of tills in the dining room, with a second line of cafeteria tills scheduled for completion by March 2010.
