Amthal Fire and Security is working closely with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to ensure staff and volunteers of the Registered Charity can continue to protect local nature reserves and the wider countryside, in a safe and secure working environment.

Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust is one of 47 Wildlife Trusts across the UK and relies heavily on volunteers to look after over 40 nature reserves, incorporating wildlife protection, across Hertfordshire.

Operating out of Head Offices in St Albans, Amthal was initially recommended to The Trust to service a faulty fire alarm panel.

Amthal has now taken over management of all fire and security requirements, including updating systems in a planned programme of works, maintaining intruder alarms and operating within newly extended areas of the offices to incorporate new access control capability.

Says Simone Deans, Business Support Manager at Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust: “We could not function without the dedicated support of our volunteers and staff; and it is our absolute duty of care priority to ensure each and every one feels safe and secure. This is not only at our Head Offices but also out and about across our Trust locations.

“Amthal instantly made an impression with the level of service and speed of response.  We had no hesitation in requesting their assistance on an evolving basis to eventually maintaining all of our fire equipment and security systems.  And being so local to us is great as well and really helps us to continue to efficiently deliver on our Charitable goals.

Phil Bryant, Amthal Service Accounts Manager added: “The Trust’s work has gone from strength to strength with its team of staff and volunteers leading improvements, and together with work partners continuing to maintain and develop vital wildlife habitats across Hertfordshire.  As a local company, we are proud to support its cause and develop our services to enable a ‘one stop shop’ operation to achieve all fire safety and security requirements.”
