Datawatch Systems has implemented HID mobile access at 30 high-rise commercial buildings in the US. Based on Assa Abloy’s Seos technology, the solution gives users the convenience of controlling access from a distance using a digital identity.

Customer
Datawatch is an integrated supplier of access control systems with products installed in over 3,000 office buildings worldwide. The company offers solutions for new construction and renovation, and replacement and upgrade of existing security systems in commercial properties.

Challenge
Datawatch remotely monitors over 60,000 doors, guaranteeing the security of everyone passing through them. The company helps property owners, property managers and tenants protect employees, residents and visitors. To date it has issued over one million code carriers and the number is constantly increasing as more and more global leading companies and organizations become customers. Datawatch is working actively on the development of new, innovative solutions and services to constantly expand its offering and differentiate itself from its competitors.

Solution
Datawatch has deployed HID mobile access for building entry and access to internal doors, including common building areas, elevators, individual suites and apartments at nearly 30 commercial properties in New York City, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Raleigh, NC and other major cities.

“We are seeing a steadily growing number of building managers and occupants who are seeking to use their phones for access control instead of the traditional cards or keyfobs,” said Kenny Reed, Director of Business Development for Datawatch.

“HID mobile access has not only facilitated retention of our existing clients, it has also helped expand our market share with a forward-looking offering that easily integrates with smart building technology to create a more connected environment for our clients.”

Datawatch customers using HID mobile access in their buildings under management include CIM Group, Jones Lang LaSalle, Fruition Partners and many more. In addition, the company has installed over 1,200 mobile-ready iCLASS SE readers in new buildings under their management, making it possible for property management companies and tenants to add mobile access at any time.
