Assa Abloy, have supplied over one thousand Aperio units to i2 Office, specialist serviced office providers.
Each sub-let i2 office was previously hardwired into an existing access control system, which was proving costly and time consuming. Consequently, facilities management service, OCS Group, introduced Aperio wireless locks to seamlessly link to the existing access control system, without the need for cables.
Philip Grace, CEO of i2 Office said, “Our mission at i2 Office is to provide the best serviced offices available in the market, therefore we never compromise on technology. Aperio appealed to us because of its innovative design and its ability to work with the security solution in place.”
The Aperio range is designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them online or offline to new or existing access control systems, with minimal modification to doors and premises, offering a cost effective and simple security upgrade.
Larry Lowther, Operations Manager at OCS Security Solutions added, “The features of Aperio make it a simple and intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security level of any premises. By utilising the existing access control system and not altering the doors in anyway, the installation costs are also minimised, therefore, more i2 offices could be upgraded in a shorter timescale.”
David Hodgkiss, National Sales Manager at Assa Abloy Access Control, concluded: “At Assa Abloy Access Control, we offer Aperio state of the art technology from the global leader in door opening solutions. This assures our customers that they are achieving high quality security that can complement existing access control systems, without the need to modify doors or the aesthetics of the environment. This can be seen by the implementation of Aperio at i2 office across the UK.”
