Morpho appoints Olivier Méaux EVP of Digital Security and Authentication division

Morpho (Safran) has announced the appointment of Olivier Méaux as Executive Vice President of its Digital Security and Authentication division. He replaces Jacques Pantin, who has been named special advisor in charge of cybersecurity.

Olivier Méaux holds degrees from Ecole Polytechnique (1985) and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (1991) engineering schools. He started his career with the bank BNP Paribas in New York. In 1995, he was named Vice President of Digital Systems and Services at Thomson Multimédia. Three years later he was appointed Vice President, Business Development and Telecommunications by the French television network, France 2. He joined Orange in 2002, holding successive management positions in sales and business development, with a particular focus on digital services. In 2013, he moved to Sopra-Steria as Managing Director of the Telecom and Media division.

"Olivier Méaux brings to our company a solid experience in the IT and digital sectors, both in France and internationally," said Anne Bouverot, CEO of Morpho. "His proven expertise in digital innovation will help energize and leverage our strengths in this market, a strong growth opportunity for Morpho."
