All-in-one Milestone Husky NVR video surveillance solution

Milestone Systems has announced the release of Milestone Husky M50 Advanced. This streamlined appliance is a customizable, rack-mounted, premium solution that combines high-performance, industrial-grade hardware and XProtect advanced video management software for complex, multi-site deployments. The unit supports up to 120 cameras in an all-in-one set up.

An onsite configuration wizard called Husky Assistant makes it possible to simplify deployment of all-in-one and recording server configurations. This significantly reduces installation time compared to traditional server set-ups. The assistant can also help customers with multi-site XProtect advanced software deployments to maintain a standardized NVR/server configuration.

Milestone Husky M50 Advanced is addressing the growing need for fast implementation of larger distributed video infrastructures. The software in the appliance provides XProtect advanced software features and facilitates installations using Milestone Federated Architecture or Milestone Interconnect across multiple sites. Existing installations can easily be extended, and new installations can be set up quickly using the Milestone Husky M50 Advanced as a building block. It can operate as an integrated unit or as a recording server.

The Milestone Husky 50 Advanced video appliance can be operated as a stand-alone unit with the advantage of joining even the most advanced distributed setup - with no extra software or upgrades required. The same goes for installations needing integration with access control systems, XProtect LPR, third-party integrations such as video analytics, scanners and more.
