ASSA ABLOY and Gallagher at education show

ASSA ABLOY and Gallagher at education show

ASSA ABLOY Access Control, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, together with Gallagher Security will be presenting an integrated approach to access control at The Higher and Further Education Show (HE&FE).

Held at Excel, London, on 14th October 2015, ASSA ABLOY Access Control and Gallagher will be exhibiting their latest innovations in access control at the show on stand 316.

The Aperio wireless locking solution will be on display, which is designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them online or offline to new or existing access control systems, with minimal modification to doors and premises.

Visitors to the ASSA ABLOY and Gallagher stand will be able to experience the cylinder and escutcheon variants in the Aperio range, alongside the advanced new L100 platform, which presents the world’s first wireless lock range for security doors with monitoring capability.

In addition, the Aperio KS100 Server Cabinet Lock will also be showcased, revealing how easy it is to monitor server cabinets and data racks access.

Damian Marsh, Managing Director at ASSA ABLOY Access Control, said: “By working together with Gallagher and showcasing our successful integration using innovative wireless technologies such as Aperio at HE&FE, we can demonstrate a simple and effective option for universities to upgrade to access control.

“Failing to protect and secure people, physical assets and information in higher education establishments can be costly and lead to legal consequences and reputational issues arising. Aperio not only works as an effective access control system, safeguarding students, staff and their belongings, but also allows organisations to make savings on energy costs.”

Dave Bentley, Gallagher Regional Manager UK & Europe, said "With 20 years’ experience in securing the education sector, institutions around the world rely on the Gallagher system to protect assets, manage resources and ensure student safety in one fully integrated security solution."
