Siqura has recently announced it has been registered by Achilles FPAL as a trusted partner for the oil and gas market. Achilles FPAL is an independent industry community matching buyers in the oil and gas sector with relevant suppliers. The Achilles FPAL registration, which is only awarded after a rigorous pre-qualification process, ensures that suppliers working in high-risk and critical operations are sufficiently and independently audited to industry-specific standards.
Comprehensive assessment
Achilles encourages compliance with legislative and corporate standards by assessing suppliers' capabilities and their financial, legal, health and safety, environmental and quality risks. It reviews data formats, cross-checks answers for consistency, validates responses against additional documents provided (e.g. insurance certificates) and uses feeds from trusted third-party providers for specialist data such as company registrations and financial records.
Explosion-protected cameras
Only weeks before being registered by Achilles FPAL Siqura launched ExPLORE, a new range of explosion-protected surveillance cameras. Combining Siqura's trademark reliability with an extremely robust exterior, ExPLORE cameras are the perfect choice for hazardous areas in the marine, oil and gas industry. The housing of these IP67-rated cameras is constructed of 316L electro-polished stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant alloy suited for use in harsh offshore and onshore environments.
