Dahua Technology, an international manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China introduced NVR N7-series (NVR7000 series with 8/16/32/64-ch available), which is based on an upgraded platform, bringing enhanced functionality with optimized interfaces.

With new-generation chipset adopted, this series supports up to 256Mbps input bandwidth and 192Mbps for recording; which means it could maximum support 32 channel@1080p real-time recording and transmission.

In addition, NVR N7-series adds several new functions such as local IPC upgrade and also optimizes motion detection. Speaking of which, it provides 4 colors for zone setting and 2 adjustable dimensions (“sensitivity” and “threshold”) in order to better categorize surveillance objects. For example, draw a box of 4x4 in red and set its threshold value at 50, then the alarm will be triggered when the red box is half occupied.

Meanwhile, it has some new functions such as network testing and sniffer, which makes the maintenance even easier; IPC firmware and mac information could also been looked up here to save the bother.

Dahua NVR N7-series is suitable for entry-to-middle level applications, where require great performance at an attractive price. It has multiple models for selection, including standard versions as well as ones with PoE ports, which makes the installation and operation more convenient. The models with PoE ports are equipped with single power supply, lowering the cost thus makes the price more preferable.

“We are glad to introduce this enhanced N7-series,” said Ice Wu, Product Director of Storage Line at Dahua Technology. “N7-series inherits previous N6 strong performance and we do believe N7-series can bring more benefits to our customers.”
