IDIS has announced a strategic agreement with newly launched surveillance distributor iCenter HD to offer IDIS DirectIP solutions across the UK. Launched in May 2013, DirectIP provides full high-definition (HD) and networked surveillance with true plug-and-play functionality, making it an ideal offering for iCenter’s customers serving the small to mid-sized market as well as large multi-site projects.

Newly formed, iCenter HD is leveraging its extensive industry knowledge to connect a select number of leading security vendors with major security projects through a network of integration partners. Founded by Jeremy Cocks, a veteran entrepreneur in the CCTV industry, iCenter HD specialises in simple to install, yet sophisticated, IP security products that are powerful enough to configure into larger security systems.
Sophisticated and simple, DirectIP allows customers to exploit the advantages of networked surveillance without the inherent technical difficulties seen with IP based CCTV products. Packaged as off-the-shelf solutions, that don't come with expensive licensing requirements, DirectIP offers end users truly simple networked and full-HD surveillance of the highest quality.
The agreement signals the start of a long-term relationship to support consultants, integrators and end users from system design and project delivery through to on-going maintenance and support.
