SimplexGrinnell, a Tyco business and master in fire and life safety, has been awarded a contract by the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) to offer simplified procurement of its products and services to 50,000 government and educational entities across the United States.
SimplexGrinnell, a Tyco business and master in fire and life safety, has been awarded a contract by the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) to offer simplified procurement of its products and services to 50,000 government and educational entities across the United States.
The agreement with NJPA, a national public service agency, gives its public entity members the opportunity to save time and money by purchasing SimplexGrinnell's best-in-class products and services through a competitively bid cooperative national contract. The NJPA contract covers the full SimplexGrinnell portfolio of fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, integrated security, sound and communications, and nurse call systems and services.

On the security side of the Tyco business, Tyco Integrated Security (TycoIS) was recently awarded a four-year renewal of its NJPA contract for security solutions and services. “Together SimplexGrinnell and TycoIS are honored to provide the best in fire and security to NFPA members while helping the organization fulfill its commitment to assist government and education entities as they strive for efficient public service,” added Madson.
