Tyco names Benny Goh as President, Installation & Services Asia

Tyco announced that Benny Goh has been appointed President ofInstallation & Services, Asia with effect from August 1, 2013. Mr. Goh is based in Tyco's Asia Headquartersin Shanghai, China.

Mr. Goh's appointment underscores Tyco's continued commitment in Asia, in particular China. Tyco has a strong regional presence in China, Hong Kong/Macau, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, and has employed nearly 10,000 employees across Asia.

Prior to joining Tyco, Mr Goh was the President of NYSE listed company, China Yuchai International. Mr Goh also held various leadership positions with Ingersoll Rand/Trane including Managing Director and Vice President of North Asia for the Climate Solutions Business. Earlier on, Mr Goh was a management consultant with AT Kearney in Chicago and with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in Singapore after his first career with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, where he served in various command and staff roles before completing his stint as a Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Goh has a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford, England and he earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
