Vicon Industries, a designer and producer of network video management systems, announced immediate price reductions across its line of Surveyor high-performance PTZ domes. The reductions, which range from seven percent to nine percent by model, affect both the SurveyorHD and SurveyorVFT lines.

The reductions, which range from seven percent to nine percent by model, affect both the SurveyorHD and SurveyorVFT lines. The SurveyorHD line includes 1080p/20X zoom and 720p/18X zoom models that conform to the ONVIF specification, providing interoperability with VMS software from many manufacturers. The cameras feature high-profile H.264 and M-JPEG compression, multi-streaming to deliver bandwidth-efficient video for viewing and recording, high-speed 360o continuous pan, advanced titling and many other high-end features.
“We anticipate customers will be extremely receptive to the new SurveyorHD pricing, which will make it the most competitively priced high-performance HD PTZ dome on the market,” said Bret McGowan, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing.
