Synectics wins $ 4.9M blue-chip contract for integrated security in the U.K.
Synectics plc subsidiary Quadrant Security Group (QSG) has been awarded one of the largest security installation projects in Europe, a single contract worth over $4.9m for the supply and installation of a turnkey electronic security system for a major Blue Chip client. The project is for a new high security complex in the UK which includes design and installation of an integrated security system for CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, Perimeter/Fence Detection and interfaces to turnstiles, barriers and X-ray machines. The whole integrated solution will be controlled and monitored by a Synectics control and command front end and is due for completion late 2013.
