Axis IP Surveillance Looks after Jewish Community Buildings in the U.S.

Axis IP Surveillance Looks after Jewish Community Buildings in the U.S.
Update the ageing security system for the Barry Family Campus (BFC), which contains 200,000-square-feet of Jewish community buildings on 25 acres. With facilities that include a school, health and fitness center, Talmud Torah learning center and daycare, BFC needed to have future-proof and cost-effective security solutions. BFC decided to maintain some of their existing analog cameras, and supplement with IP solution. As part of the new system, BFC has three Axis video encoders running with Axis blades, two Axis network cameras. The entire network is managed by Axis partner Milestone’s video management.

BFC decided to maintain some of their existing analog cameras, and supplement with IP solution. As part of the new system, BFC has three Axis video encoders running with Axis blades, two Axis network cameras. The entire network is managed by Axis partner Milestone's video management.

The use of a hybrid system of Axis encoders and cameras and the Milestone software made for a cost-effective solution to the immediate upgrade needs of BFC. It also allows for a manageable upgrade to the campus security system as the current analog cameras reach their end-of-life, while maintaining the high standard of safety that is important for the nearly 1500 people who access the amenities daily.
