CBES were contracted to supply and install surveillance, access control and an intruder alarm system for the new $25 million NHS Station Plaza Health Center via Halsions, a site situated in the regeneration center of Hastings.
The new facility, which is spread across five floors, is next door to the redeveloped transport hub in the heart of Hastings town center. It affords easy access and provides the only health facility in the locality, the unit provides patients with coexisting health problems to have their various health needs met on the same day rather than make several appointments.
CBES designed and project managed works to the standards meeting or exceeding all key dates on budget. Approach CBES installed an IP solution access control system across the site using the network infrastructure supplied by the NHS contractors, critical doors are networked back to a central PC server which can be accessed throughout the building, the IP access control system is the first of its type installed and commissioned by CBES. CBES also supplied a surveillance system to all floors with central recording and monitoring being undertaken in the building manager's office. In conjunction with the security consultants CBES opted to supply and install a surveillance system. The whole building is being protected by a Galaxy-dimension security intruder system.
