Canon's vandal- and weather-resistant VB-R13VE PTZ Speed Dome Network Camera provides maximum visual coverage for effective monitoring in a variety of challenging outdoor environments. The VB-R13VE offers seamless PTZ control provided by 360° endless panning capability, 180° tilting with automatic image flipping and a 450° per second high-speed precision pan tilt mechanism. In addition to 30x optical zoom for crisp images even from long distances, the VB-R13VE also offers an Enhanced Digital Zoom function that can offer up to an equivalent 120x optical zoom when streaming at lower resolutions.
The 2.1 Megapixel VB-R13VE is equipped with several core technologies including an advanced Genuine Canon Lens, sophisticated high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor and powerful DIGIC DV III Image Processor all working in unison to deliver crisp images with remarkable color accuracy, even in low-light environments. A built-in heater and water-tight housing with moisture release system helps to ensure that this camera delivers clear video with virtually no distortions due to excess moisture.
Installers will appreciate the easy-to-mount design of the VB-R13VE, and users will benefit from the ability to establish up to 256 preset camera positions and schedule up to five preset tour routes. The VB-R13VE is ONVIF Profile S and Profile G Conformant to help ensure maximum interoperability with third-party recorders, and also includes a Canon Camera Management Tool (CCMT) that allows for centralized management of all current Canon Network Cameras (camera discovery, configuration, back-ups and restores, firmware upgrades, etc.).
The simple setup and use offered by the VB-R13VE is furthered by a Camera Viewer and a Mobile Viewer that provide easy access to the camera's features and functionality from a variety of different compatible devices including PCs, mobile phones and tablets. Usability is further enhanced with the VB-R13VE's Motion Adaptive Noise Reduction and Area-Specific Data Size Reduction (ADSR) features, both of which are designed to help reduce data size while also helping to improve image quality of areas of interest.
This camera also offers audio and external I/O support, enabling two-way communication between the operator and camera location.
