- The E-IQ range is based around scan sensors, whereas most other IP cameras use interlaced sensors. Scan sensors provide superior images when capturing moving objects. Interlaced images often show tearing and/or jagged edges with fast-moving objects. This is because interlaced sensors first capture odd then even fields, which are combined into one frame. Progressive Scan sensors capture a scene in one pass. It features one point three, two and three megapixel versions. Maximum resolution is 2,048 pixels by 1,536 megapixels (three megapixels), 1,600 pixels by 1,200 pixels (two megapixel) or 1,280 pixels by 1,024 pixels (1.3 megapixel).
