- Eclipse 700 software is a Microsoft Windows .NET platform suite of services that allows users to configure, command and control Mercury Security SCP and AP series access control hardware. Eclipse 700 front-end software is a full-feature security management solution. Integrated security features include access control, video management, intrusion detection, alarm management, photo credentialing, biometrics, graphic mapping, data management and reporting. The architecture supports multi-user and multi-site applications with a high reader count and large credential population.
The graphic user interface (GUI) is designed to be intuitively obvious to system operators, who can use the GUI out of the box as shipped or configured to match all preferences for daily use. The GUI supports multiple monitors. All GUI screens, such as transaction information, alarms, configuration data and reports, can be docked or placed where the operator prefers to see the information presented. Eclipse 700 system software supports up to 8,192 card readers per site. The system is compatible with magnetic-stripe and Wiegand-output readers such as proximity, barcode, fingerprint, hand geometry and other various readers. Keypads and integrated keypad readers are also supported.
