  • Fastlane GlassGate features the same 1/4" tailgate detection, pinpoint accuracy, speed and aesthetic advantages synonymous with the Fastlane brand. Unlike other glass barrier systems, GlassGate provides this unsurpassed protection while maintaining the streamlined profile it is known for, avoiding the need for extremely wide and long enclosures. With pedestals that are only 6.4" wide as opposed to 19" or more, GlassGate is 66% more narrow than most other glass barrier turnstiles. GlassGate blends into the fabric of lobbies, eliminating the ''mass transit'' look and feel that others convey. It is also the only glass barrier solution with breakaway barriers for additional safety. To further enhance its superior throughput abilities, while a unique buffering system allows multiple authorizations at a time, the gates open in the direction the pedestrian is going and then stay open if continual authorization is occurring by users in either direction. Free egress is accomplished by simply walking through the lane. Glass height ranges from approximately four and five foot heights. The GlassGate features countertops in a virtually unlimited choice of materials to ensure that they blend into the fabric of the building.
