The first of its kind, the MiY Product Line provides an outdoor biometric access control solution with built-in TLS encrypted Ethernet support and Sandbox development framework.
The 3M Cogent MiY Product Line offers a complete range of highly sophisticated, accurate, and customizable biometric physical access control readers that perform fast authentication and efficient entry while providing access security in a variety of environments. The readers feature an Ingress Protection design with built-in TLS encrypted Ethernet and PIV-approved matchers and scanners.
- MiY-ID—Award winning, multi-purpose, multi-functional biometric access control reader. Uses fingerprint, PIN, contact and contactless smartcard. It meets current PACS standards for PIV, CAC, and TWIC, and can be easily customized to conform to changing standards.
- MiY-Card—Multi-purpose, multi-factor biometric access control reader. Uses fingerprint, PIN and contactless smart card.
- MiY-Search—Multi-purpose, two-factor biometric access control reader. Uses fingerprint and PIN.
- MiY-Security Manager—A comprehensive management system developed to optimize the MiY Readers’ Biometric Access Control product line. The software facilitates the management of the devices, making the addition to existing access control systems simple and cost effective.
