HD camera is based on the high definition camera which is transmit by IP network. The IP Camera contain the lens, IR Cut filter, image sensor, Clock synchronization and image coding crunch disposal mother board, Power supply and I/O network interface board,please see the details in the picture.
The most important accessory is the image sensor,which will directly effect whether it is high definition or not.In the market,most company choose the CMOS as the sensor of the HD Cameras.
The affect of the HD products:
Megapixel means the sensor of the ip camera can reach more than megapixel.At the same time,the resolution of the hd ip camera will be higher than 128－720.Strictly speaking,we call the true HD product which can reach 1080p.

The HD product can reach 1 Megapixel,2 Megapixel,3 Megapixel and 5 Megapixel,for the traditional product,it can only reach 1MP.
2-Real-time without delay
According to the Pal system,it need to achieve 25 frames to transfer and playback.Most of the ip camera reach 1MP and 2MP can be real-time,but when the resolution reach 256－1920,they are unable to be real-time.
In practical application,the customer will have a clear demand on the CCTV product,like in the Bank,they must show clearly of each customer’s face.like in the transportation,It must be clearly show each car plate number.when you use the traditional camera,you need to have many cameras to achieve the demand,but if you use the HD Camera,you just need one camera,which will save the cost.
According to the advantages of the Megapixel cameras,is it means that the higher resolution of the product is better?Actually no,For the Megapixel cameras,which will need a large storage.For example.The storage of 1080p HD product need the storage of 5 doubles more than the D1 products.so when using the megapixel cameras,you need to estimate the integrated transport and investment of storage to choose the right product,1.3MP and 2MP Camera is enough to meet the demand on the high definition.
