Visual Tools launches a new application for AXIS cameras with recording capabilities on NAS or SD card is now available.

This is AX-POS, licensed software that installed on the camera allows to overwrite the texts of the POS or ATM terminals on the video images so, by using the management software, fulfill the live or recorded video monitoring and search and identify suspicions.

The application AX-POS installed in the camera, after an easy integration with the ATM, POS, ECR..., receives over the IP network the transaction data, labels them with the same date and time that the images, and stores them in a database at the same location where the video was saved and during the same period.

By accessing the camera interface via web browser, by using the video management software Supervisor X or with a third party software pre-integration, the user can retrieve the data from the transactions superimposed on live or recorded video, search images associated with a specific text or search for the transaction data by using the date and time of the images.

With AX-POS the users of AXIS IP cameras have a valuable tool to identify and make evident fraudulent operations that may not be easy to detect by using only video, such as short rings, non-existent returns, no sale transactions, and substitute scanning…
