Oswego, IL. (May 01 2009) – To meet the growing demand for OT Systems products and increased application support throughout the Americas, OT Systems recently announced the hiring of Jeffrey S. Smith as director of Technical Services – Americas.

Joseph Frank, OT Systems’ director of sales – the Americas. “Jeff’s path through the security industry from residential sales to commercial/industrial sales to installation, project management and sales engineering, gives him unique insight into all levels of a project from start to finish. Smith brings more than a decade of security industry experience to the position. He most recently was a sales engineer and project manager for Convergint Technologies in Schaumburg, IL. In that position he developed CCTV, access control and intrusion alarm projects, combining products from various manufacturers to design application specific systems. Prior to joining Convergint Technologies, he was an installation supervisor with Alarm Detection Systems Inc., in Aurora, IL.
