Description:
Bosch introduces the IP 200 Series HD family. These complete network video surveillance systems include built-in video recording and storage. Part of the new Bosch high definition (HD) range, the IP Camera 265 HD brings high performance HD technology into the realm of small businesses. Both camera and dome versions are compact solutions that allow customers to choose the styling that matches their application.
The IP Camera 265 HD delivers the clearest HD 720p images and most accurate colors in their class. Also, progressive scan technology helps keep moving objects sharply in focus. The highly detailed, widescreen format images can capture more useable content than SD counterparts. So, depending on the application, a single IP 265 HD system can potentially view the same area as two or more standard definition cameras.
Together with high detail, convenience and ease-of-use are key benefits of the IP 265 HD solutions. Plug in the camera and video can be recorded immediately, without any additional equipment. A microSD/SDHC card slot eliminates the need for an external recorder, while efficient H.264 compression minimizes storage demands, saving up to 30 percent compared to MPEG-4. If more storage is required, it can easily be extended by connecting a video recorder from Bosch or an iSCSI server.
The free Video Client software from Bosch allows images from multiple cameras to be viewed on a PC monitor, and video clips can be archived easily. Smart motion search quickly locates important events by automatically scanning for movement in the recorded video. Also, because images are captured in such high detail, the Video Client's electronic zoom can be used to examine critical areas of recorded scenes more closely.
The IP Camera 265 HD features include built-in motion, tamper and audio alarm. When activated, the camera automatically sends an alert (even by email) and can trigger an alarm or change the recording quality. As well as an audio alarm, the cameras are equipped with two-way audio, adding a useful communication channel to the system. Conformance to the ONVIF standard ensures compatibility with other surveillance products and helps reduce costs if customers upgrade or migrate their system in the future.
The box camera is fitted with a varifocal lens as standard, while the dome camera features an auto-iris lens. The auto-iris lens helps the dome camera adapt easily to different lighting conditions.
