The NWC-0800 3.1-megapixel camera can view a far wider area than a typical analog camera with fewer cameras covering the same monitoring area. The camera operates in extreme lighting conditions from more than 100,000 lux to as low as one lux. Frame rate and resolution are adjustable, providing precise fine-tuning of the image quality to accommodate available bandwidth and storage. Adjustable M-JPEG compression further reduces the impact on transmission speed and storage. Megapixel cameras complement Bosch's DiBos DVRs, providing the flexibility of mixing analog and digital cameras together. As many as four user-defined zoomed areas can be recorded and monitored per camera for closer examination.
