STid, First French RFID manufacturer for Aeronautics applications, will supply flexible flyable RFID tags to optimize maintenance operations and logistics for the "Hélicoptère du futur" program, carried by Eurocopter.

The "Hélicoptère du Futur" program aims to renew the Eurocopter range, with improved security and cost optimization. Eurocopter, first manufacturer of civilian helicopters in the world, has selected STid among several other candidates, for the design and development of flexible UHF RFID tags, compliant with aerospace standards ATA Spec Spec. 2000 Chapter 9.5 and SAE AS5678.

These specific tags will ensure the tracking and the maintenance of the aircraft parts with the best size/performance ratio.

After having successfully completed the project RFID Aero (Secure Identification and tracking of maintenance operations with RFID for aircrafts with Eurocopter), STid confirms its leadership in RFID technologies for very demanding applications and markets, like aerospace.
