Close to the Sharjah Kalba road near the Emirate’s East coast, a new 12 square kilometre wildlife conservation center located in the Hajjar Mountains (Oasis of Al Dhaid) is planned to establish a new Natural Park. It will also become home to almost 1,000 animals. After a fierce competition with numerous well-known brands, TSict IP68 Housings are the one that finally stood out as a superior product to give robust protection for chosen cameras.

The project covers a total area of 120 hectares of land, it consists of 12 phases, and currently project construction is on phase 1A stage. The USA brand VEILUX Megapixel with video analytics and VL-3MP2812 2.8 to 12 mm, 3 Megapixel lens are selected to fulfill long distance day and night surveillance. However due to lack of light source and shortage of cabling platform in wild area, an extra long range IR lamp with access to PoE alimentation become prior to camera housing selection.
TSict TSAH1313-5 housing is equipped with IP68 protection level, anti-acid and vandal proof. It is built in 60 W HiPoE splitter with direct connection to heater and cooling device, particularly to 200 m IR Illuminator and camera. User friendly design makes maximum 5 steps to complete the installation with 1 Ethernet cable from opening to mounting. For some areas with shorter light source requirement and with access of power lines, TSict TSAH1213-1, alimented by 12 V DC power input and equipped with 30 m white light illuminator, is selected. On most sites within Natural Park, due to restricted mounting platforms, pole mounting are most recommended scheme, however since most poles are constructed with huge diameter size of more than 20 cm, to carry out the task, TSict also supplied customized pole mounts to overcome critical installation limitation.
