I-View Communication Inc. announced today the launch of its latest Ethernet/PoE over Coax converter system transmits Ethernet and power of IP cameras over single coax cable and can quickly turn any ordinary coaxial cable into a high speed network communication & PoE path. The system begins communicating. LED indicators show the status of network communication and PoE power, when operating over coaxial cable. The Ethernet/PoE system can operate for distances of up to 300 /600meters (1,000/2,000feet), extends network communications to overcome cable distance limitations offering connections to devices in locations traditional networking does not allow.
The Ethernet/PoE over Coax converter system consists of a transmitter and a receiver set, which can be quick installation, no need to configure. Simply connect network devices to the network ports of the transmitter and receiver along with existing cabling, eliminating the time, expense and risk of laying new Cat 5 network cable. To let you install IP cameras easily, quickly, and reliably, without the disruption and expense of installing new cable. And now with PoE over Coax, you can deliver up to 12 watts of PoE power to the IP camera as well, eliminating the complexity of installing local power supplies. The Ethernet/PoE over Coax converter system is ideal for retrofitting existing installations.
