Hiqview, a fast-growing IP surveillance manufacturer and provider, has launched the HIQ-7386, an outdoor mini PTZ IP camera. The HIQ-7386 is equipped with 1/2.8 Sony CMOS sensor IMX222 and all-IP architecture. The built-in open platform web server provides remote users with real time video through an internet browser.
The HIQ-7386 uses a 3.5~ 9mm zoom lens, and the zoom function is 3x optical and motorised, which means the lens actually lengthens and shortens when zooming. By using an actual lens adjustment, the 3x optical zoom function allows the camera to produce more realistic and clearer images in high resolutions.
The images can be compressed into two formats: H.264 and MJPEG for resolutions of 1920*1080 / 1280*720 / 640*480 / 320*240 / 176*144. Under full HD resolution, the HIQ-7386 can create quality images at 30fps@1080p real-time. Users are able to choose a suitable streaming format to meet different environmental conditions.
Smart focus / Auto focus / Step focus functions mean that the HIQ-7386 is often more professional and unique in performance when compared with other outdoor IP cameras on the security market. For example, with smart focus, the users can select a square within the screen image that they would like to focus on. And then the built in Smart focus would clearly focus on the selected area and show clear images. By using Auto focus, the HIQ-7386 is able to focus automatically in advance on a moving object and also on a big object which might occupy over 50% of the screen image. By using Step focus, users are able to set up near manual focus or distanct focus on the screen image of the camera. These functions allow users to flexibly control the lens and make adjustments and installation easier.
The HIQ-7386 features wide dynamic range (WDR) to maintain quality performance even in strong backlight or dim lighting conditions. The WDR technology would use different exposures for different objects, making the light contrast much lower, and thus revealing clear features on, for example, a man’s face. In addition, image noise can be caused by many factors, such as power interference, heat, and a dim light source, resulting in ineffective surveillance work. The HIQ-7386 can effectively remove image noises by applying DNR technology that not only makes clearer images, but also reduces video file size in transmission and recording.
The pan and tilt function can be adjusted remotely, up to 250° for pan and within 75° for the tilt option. This allows users to move the camera lens swiftly and flexibly towards the monitored areas. Furthermore, the HIQ-7386 can be pre-programmed with different routine patterns in order that the camera can carry out and activate those patterns to a required schedule. Accordingly, with these settings, this pan/tilt/zoom IP camera can then move through the settings from, for example, the front door, the gate, to the parking lot...to capture images as programmed.
Auto Tracking is one of the special features supported by the HIQ-7386; when a dynamic object moves in the forefront, the HIQ-7386 will automatically detect and monitor the moving object as a target to trace.
Connecting the HIQ-7386 to a network is very simple, as it comes provided with an installation tool for searching for devices that are already connected to the internet. This feature alleviates the inconvenience of complex network settings. And with PoE facility, it supports the camera powered over internet connection via the same ethernet cable.
The HIQ-7386 is delivered with the powerful VMS Hiqview Vision software ready bundled, which supplies users with video management and surveillance potential for up to 64 channels of IP cameras.
