In Device 4U, we always believe that every thought and idea is unique and can be implemented as long as you have the right attitude. And with the right attitude, we managed to be the first local manufacturer of turnstile in Malaysia. IMPEDO is the first Malaysian local-manufactured turnstile to provide security access control for buildings and facilities.

Invention and innovation has always been our main goal to stay ahead in the game and survive in the industry. “LIVE AMONGST INVENTIONS” has become our main motto for the last 15 years, and it is proven with our latest recognition of “MALAYSIA INVENTION INNOVATION AWARD 2015.” IMPEDO was given credit in the Malaysia Technology EXPO 2015, held at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Malaysia. The exhibition was organized by Malaysian Association of Research Scientists (MARS) together with PROTEMP Exhibitions and Conferences Sdn. Bhd. The Invention and Innovation Awards was in place since 2006, created a platform for researchers, scientists and innovators to showcase their entries.

The award resembles Integrity, Honour, and Progress to the achievers through their success that recognizes the values and principles of inventions/innovations and their creators. Invention & Innovation Awards evaluation criteria are used as guidelines for the creators and their inventions/innovations on moving forward towards commercialization.

IMPEDO managed to achieve silver award through our capability to adopt with existing features of available turnstiles in the market while maintaining cost effective and superior service. We further innovate the turnstile by being the 1st in the world to feature a 7-inch colour LCD panel mounted in the turnstile for advertising and information display. IMPEDO offers a slim and sleek design that provides minimal and efficient occupied space for installation with its aesthetic features. The high-customization availability offered by Device 4U further enhance the uniqueness of IMPEDO.
