Texecom''s new low profile Odyssey 5 external sounder has a fully sealed housing which optimises lens contrast, maximising the visual impact of the 270 degree strobe when activated, even in bright sunlight. The low profile design, combined with a screw tamper switch and adjustable wall and lid tamper switch (patents pending), make the Odyssey 5 one of the most secure and reliable external sounders on the market.

Specifically designed for ease of installation, the EN 50131 Grade 3 compliant sounder has twin Piezo sounders producing a 115dB alarm. The new design conceals an advanced microprocessor, IP65 sealed electronics and engineer hold-off mode. Being low profile, it is also the ideal platform to take advantage of Texecomˇs free screen printing service.

A cost effective version, the Odyssey 5E, is also available. With the same low profile styling of the Odyssey 5, the 5E is aimed at residential installations. It has a single Piezo sounder producing 109dB and an adjustable wall and lid tamper switch.
