The FbF mobileOne Cradle is a lightweight, portable FIPS 201/PIV compliant fingerprint scanning accessory Made for iPod touch and iPhone and is ideal for rapid, mobile ID. FbF mobileOne Cradle docks securely with the Apple 30-pin connector on the iPod touch and iPhone using a secure yet removable sleeve that has a built-in Lithium Ion battery supplying more than 8 hours of continuous operation without drawing any power from the iOS device. Fingerprint capture, quality check and image transfer takes approximately 700 ms from the moment a finger is placed on the sensor. A full set of 10 prints can be captured in less than 25 seconds. Using the built in camera on the iOS device, it is possible to take 5 facial images and a full set of prints using FbF mobileOne in less than 1 minute. Suitable for 1:1 and 1:N identification.
