Hikvision, a global leader in the AI-powered Internet of Things (AIoT), has launched
Quick Pass, a comprehensive access control solution designed to simplify people and vehicle access management across residential and commercial environments. By bringing pedestrian and vehicle entry into a single, unified, solution, reducing complexity while delivering faster access, stronger security, and simpler day-to-day management.
Designed for residential communities and commercial sites alike, Quick Pass combines intelligent access hardware with unified management software. It supports both cloud-based and on-premises deployment, offering flexibility to meet different operational needs and accommodate future expansion.
A single connected system to provide smoother passage and tighter security
Whether it is a residential community, office building, or factory, access control often creates unnecessary delays and extra work. Common issues include:
- Slow entry caused by manual visitor registration and verification
- Security concerns such as lost cards, copied license plates, and unauthorized entry
- Separate systems for people and vehicle access that increase management effort
Quick Pass addresses these challenges through a single unified platform. It supports multiple authentication methods for people, vehicles, and visitors, while centralizing permissions, visitor management, attendance, and access records. Hikvision's MinMoe terminals deliver facial recognition in less than 0.2 seconds with 99% accuracy, while ANPR cameras offer license plate recognition precision of 98.5% or higher. Together with automatic barrier control, these technologies help people and vehicles pass through entrances more efficiently.
AI makes access management simpler and smarter
Quick Pass incorporates AI capabilities to improve both access recognition and management efficiency. AI enhances recognition performance to support reliable access verification, helping people and vehicles enter more smoothly.
AI-powered natural language interaction also makes access management more intuitive. Administrators can describe tasks in everyday language to manage user registration, visitor access, permissions, and attendance, reducing the effort required for routine operations.
"Access management should be easy to deploy, simple to manage, and flexible enough to meet the needs of different sites," said Wenson Zhou, Product Marketing Director at Hikvision. "With Quick Pass, we have combined people and vehicle access into one solution that reduces operational complexity while providing a faster, smoother, and more secure experience. By integrating AI into access management, we are also making entry smarter and helping administrators handle everyday tasks more efficiently."
Designed for different access scenarios
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, Quick Pass uses different Hikvision products to adapt to the needs of different sites.
- For villas, Quick Pass provides homeowners with greater convenience and peace of mind. Residents can see and speak with visitors through video intercom, unlock doors and activate gate openers remotely using the Hik-Connect mobile app, and review access records from anywhere. Through Hik-Connect Team Mode, homeowners can also remotely manage video intercom devices, gate openers, and other access control equipment. This makes it easy to grant entry to family members, guests, and delivery personnel—even when away from home.
- For condos, Quick Pass improves both convenience and security for residents and property managers. Residents can enter buildings through MinMoe facial recognition terminals without searching for cards or keys. They can also grant temporary access to guests and delivery personnel through Hik-Connect. Property managers can centrally manage buildings, residents, visitor credentials and vehicle permissions using Hik-Connect Team Mode instead of separate systems. At vehicle entrances, ANPR cameras work with barrier gates to enable seamless access. For added security, vehicle access can be configured with ANPR and facial recognition, enabling dual verification of both the driver and the vehicle.
- For office complexes and factories, Quick Pass streamlines daily operations for employees, visitors, and administrators. Employees enjoy touch-free entry through MinMoe facial recognition terminals paired with swing barriers, while attendance is recorded automatically in the same system. Visitors receive temporary digital credentials for faster check-in. Vehicle access is automated through ANPR or long-range Ultra High Frequency (UHF) identification to keep traffic moving efficiently, even during busy periods. All access activities are managed through Hik-Connect Team Mode, making it easier to manage permissions and retrieve records.
By combining convenience, security, AI capabilities, and unified management, Quick Pass helps simplify access control and create a smoother experience for everyone entering a site.
