Arab Islamic Bank Palestine installed FingerTec Q2i for attendance

The Arab Islamic Bank (AIB) was incorporated as a Palestinian public shareholding company in Jericho Palestine on Jan 8, 1995. The Bank operates from its head office in El-Bireh and has 9 branches and one office operating in the West Bank and Gaza Strip covering the main cities of Palestine. Arab Islamic Bank is the largest Islamic bank operating in Palestine in terms of assets, deposits and total financing and shareholders equity; the fifth largest bank among all banks operating in Palestine Group and also the second largest national bank.

Biometrics system is fast becoming the preferred choice for Time & Attendance with Access Control solutions for offices, factories, warehouses and retail outlets throughout the Palestinian market. Palestinian companies are convinced with the benefits of deploying fingerprint system for managing employees because it reduces inaccuracy caused by manual data entry and 'buddy punching.'

Previously, Arab Islamic Bank was using a different brand of biometrics system for their staff attendance. However, after evaluating the effectiveness of FingerTec Q2i for the bank’s staff’s attendance, the management changed the system," said Sameer Alyaseeni, Assistant Director of AIB. More than 420 staff of AIB is using 15 units of Q2i in all it's branches around Palestine. Al-Jaffal Group, FingerTec reseller in Palestine, is responsible for this installation.
