King Fahd Military Medical Complex, acronym KFMMC is a the most modern medical institution for the armed forces. This hospital with an area of 500,000sq meters, located in the city of Dammam has specialized departments including nephology, kidney transplants, vascular surgery, specialty clinics, etc. The hospital also has a helicopter air strip located close to the ER entrance for transferring emergency cases from around the land.

The vision of this institution is to provide high quality health services to the Armed Forces personnel, their dependents and other authorized persons both in times of war and times of peace. The hospital also develops training and educational programs in medicine and health related professions, with specific emphasis towards the development of Saudi nationals.

Having a huge staff strength of more than 1000 personnel, the hospital management was looking for an automated time and attendance system suitable to handle a large crowd and constant changing of work schedules. They were using a manual system and of late, the system has been viewed as not suitable anymore going forward. Engaged with FingerTec distributor, ITQAN Fingerprint., H2i model was finalized due to the size and its efficiency. Implementation of H2i fingerprint system allows their staff to do away without cards or keys yet the management receives accurate data at all time. Now, all attendance data is centralized and all the necessary reports are available in Ingress.
