The group state-of-the-art refinery and its sub-industries will mark the beginning of environmental friendly petrochemical and used oil processing in the region.
Earlier this year, the company approached Taysseer Alsharq Trading Service for a solution that can handle management of critical areas in their factory and they were introduced to the
FingerTec Ingressus series and
Kadex card solution. The Ingressus series controller supports access control for a 1-door (Ingressus I), 2-doors (Ingressus II) and 4-doors (Ingressus IV) environment where users verify their identities at the relevant Wiegand terminals or RS485 readers by fingerprint, card, password or any combination during entry and exit. The Ingressus controllers verify users’ identities before granting them access. Transaction records are saved into its inbuilt memory and the records are sent to the software immediately for further processing. Each Ingressus controller works independently at its access point; however the data is centralized from all Ingressus controllers to give a better and complete picture of the environment’s security level.
Other important security features of Ingressus series include Real-Time Door Status & Event Monitoring that lets door opening and door closing activities be supervised at all times, Multi-card Operation to manage high-secured areas, Interlock Function, whereby one door opens, another closes, providing tighter security, Antipassback to ensure that no single person leaves a premise untraced and an SDK to integrate Ingressus into customized software free of charge and Duress Mode for emergencies.
The installation of Ingressus I, II, IV plus Kadex in Hamad Al Sagri Holding were completed in March 2017.
