Dahua Technology has on display at its booth various cutting-edge video surveillance solutions, among them HDCVI 3.0, the next generation of the company’s own HDCVI technology.

A main attraction of HDCVI 3.0 is the DVR, which is now compatible with other known HD analog technologies. This way users can pick HDCVI 3.0 DVR regardless of the type of camera they have on the front end. “We know there are different HD analog formats out there now. What we offer allows users to have more choices,” said Molly Bao, East Asia Sales Manager with Dahua.

Moreover, HDCVI 3.0 draws with its high-definition and intelligence capabilities, which are formerly associated with IP solutions. Dahua has introduced a series of 4-megapixel and even 4K HDCVI 3.0 cameras. Intelligence features such as people counting are also supported to better satisfy the user’s various needs.

“We believe that HD and intelligence should be applied to analog as well,” Bao said. “There is a demand for these features for users with existing analog infrastructure. With our solution they can enjoy all the benefits without changing that infrastructure, and related cost can be saved.”

In terms of IP, Dahua is showcasing its 4K network cameras as well as its Eco-Savvy H.265 series featuring advanced H.265 encoding that helps save up to 50 percent of bandwidth and storage usage. Dahua also has video intercom and access control solutions for intelligent buildings, as well as industrial cameras for smart factories.
